I can't recall precisely when writing about spirits and dive bars became a hobby. I think it started in "the before times" (pre-pandemic) at a very friendly little hidden neighborhood bar. My partner and I became friends with the bartenders... and the bar backs... and the wait staff... and the managers... and the patrons... good times.
This blog is an homage to our friends in the hospitality industry. They work so hard and make us so happy - despite the level of anxiety "The Bear" would have us believe they all suffer.
